Supertrencher 560

Our Supertrencher 560 is capable of digging trenches from 50mm to 135mm wide and 200mm to 560mm deep, all hydraulically controlled from within the cab. Like the 450 it has one conveyor for carrying spoil away from the trench but this folds to the side of the machine for transport. It has a one speed gear box and requires a tractor of 80hp+.

Digging Wheel: 15mm (5/8’’) thick with turbo bars. Laser profiled from speciality steel.
Drive train: PTO driven through heavy duty right angle gearbox, duplex drive chain and cushion drive. PTO slip clutch and shear pin add further protection.
Cutters: Hard wearing tungsten carbide tipped cutters. Tungsten carbide tipped ‘bullets’ for extra hard digging conditions.
Construction: The extensive use of laser profiled stainless steel for its non-rusting properties, greater strength and enhanced soil flow.
Conveyor: Hydraulically driven conveyor 3 metres long with heavy duty endless rubber cleated belt. Hydraulic ram to raise and lower discharge height.
Tractor: 60 to 100hp with creep or variable speed transmission. Forward speeds from 300 metres per hour (0.3km/h) @ 540 rpm pto speed.
Hydraulic Serv.: 2 double acting and 1 single acting spool valves.
Trench Specification: Trench depth: 200mm (8”) to 560mm (22”), Trench width: 50mm (2”) to 135mm (5.5”).
